Built to improve life
Circular started as a question we could not stop asking: why is it so hard to understand what your own body is doing? Not the data. The meaning behind it.
Wearables were supposed to help people understand their own health. Somewhere along the way, that promise got buried under monthly fees, vague metrics, and dashboards that never told you what to do next.
We built Circular to give that power back. A tool for prevention. A tool for informed choices. A tool that respects your intelligence enough to explain what it finds, and what to do about it.
So we built it ourselves. 13+ core health features, no subscription. Real meaning, clear actions, no recurring fee. A community of thousands of customers helped shape what it became.
Our founders
We built it because we could not find another one
We started this company because we wanted a tool that could tell us what our bodies were actually saying, and what to do about it. Not just how many steps we took. That belief still drives every decision we make.
So we started building.
What began as a small project grew into something much larger when thousands of people recognised the same gap. The response was a signal. People wanted a health tool that actually respected their intelligence.
That is still what drives us.
“We did not start Circular to build a wearable. We started it because we wanted to understand our own bodies better, and we realised no one was building that tool for us. Every decision we have made since then comes from that same place.”
Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir.
The Circular community
Circular is three things at once: a founding team, an engineering team, and a community. Each one shapes what we do.
The founders and leadership
“We are people who got obsessed with a problem and could not let it go.”
Circular is funded by its founders, Laurent and Amaury. It is supported by a group of business angels and family offices, doctors and athletes who wear the ring themselves. They are doctors and athletes who use the ring themselves.
It means when we decide what to build next, the only voice that matters in the room is the person wearing the ring.
Circular is built by a team of engineers, designers, and product specialists, supported by clinical advisors. Every algorithm is reviewed by the engineer who wrote it. Every clinical feature is validated by our advisors. Every member of the team wears the ring they help build. The product is the work of professionals who use it themselves.
The engineers and team
Every person on our engineering team wears the ring.
That is not a policy. It just happened naturally. When you are building something this close to people's health, you want to feel what they feel. You want to know if the sleep data feels right after a rough night. You want to be the first to notice when something is off, because you felt it yourself.
Circular's engineering team is structured for the technical and clinical demands of a continuous health-tracking product. Algorithm design, signal processing, firmware, hardware, app development, and clinical advisory all sit under one roof.
Each discipline is led by specialists with deep experience in their field. Algorithms are written, peer-reviewed, and validated against clinical references. Hardware iterates through controlled testing. App releases are reviewed across the full team before they reach customers.
The team wears the ring throughout the process. The discipline of the work, and the discipline of the use, are deliberately one and the same.
The community
Our community did not come after the product. It came before it, and has grown around it ever since.
The people who supported us when we first launched the smart ring gave us their trust before there was much to show for it. The customers who joined when the product launched, and the people wearing the ring today, are the reason it continues to improve. The community is all of them.
Every message we receive is read. Every feature request is logged. Every piece of feedback is reviewed in our product planning. Some requests shape the next release. Some shape the one after that. None of it is ignored.
That is the kind of company we want to be. Not one that launches a product and moves on. One that stays in conversation with everyone who wears the ring, and treats what they say as part of the work.
Three things we believe
1. We believe your health data should not have a monthly fee
Every major competitor charges a subscription to access the full picture of your own body. We think that is wrong. The core 13+ features of Circular, including Kira AI, require no subscription. Your health data is yours.
2. We believe in building with our community, not just for them
The Circular Ring 2 was shaped by thousands of early adopters, the customers who joined when the product launched, and the people wearing the ring today, whose feedback informed everything, from feature priorities to sizing decisions. They are not customers. They are co-builders of what this product has become.
3. We believe the best health tool is one you forget you are wearing
No screen. No stressful notifications pushing you to close your rings. Just a quiet, precise ring that reads your body continuously and tells you what it finds, in plain language, when you need it, and finally what actions you can take.
Our mission
To make every person wearing a Circular ring feel genuinely cared for.
